This purple Sapphire comes from Moyo Gems in Tanzania’s Umba Valley, where it was mined by hand by women artisanal miners. Moyo is a mine-to-market program the women helped shape, from how it runs to how they are paid, with stones traced from the mine to market. It sits in a smooth bezel of solid 14k yellow gold, on a band with a soft curve. One of a kind, made in our Montréal studio.
